Prophetic Proximity (Everyday Distinctives)

In this message, Pastor Randy introduces the fifth Everyday Church Distinctive: Prophetic Proximity — learning to live with spiritual awareness of who and what God has already placed around us. Using Acts 17 and Paul’s time in Athens, he shows how Paul noticed what was happening around him, allowed his spirit to be stirred, built a bridge through the culture, and ultimately pointed people to Jesus.

Prophetic Proximity is not about waiting for a special assignment somewhere else. It’s about recognizing that our homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, ballfields, and everyday relationships may already be part of God’s plan. We’re not here by accident — we’re here on assignment.
